Otolaryngologist (ENT)

We are currently seeking an Otolaryngologist to provide care in Columbia, SC supporting the Columbia VA Health Care System. All services will take place at 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia SC 29209.

The following criteria are required to be considered for this position.

JOB SUMMARY

On-site Board-Certified Otolaryngology Physician responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing conditions related to the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. This includes medical, surgical, and rehabilitative care for a wide range of conditions such as hearing loss, sinus disorders, throat infections, voice problems, allergies, sleep apnea, and head and neck cancers.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Conducting physical exams and evaluating patient history to diagnose ENT-related conditions.
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as audiograms, imaging, and endoscopic examinations.
  • Prescribing medications, therapies, and other treatments for ear, nose, and throat conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active and unrestricted state medical license
  • Board Certification by the American Board of Otolaryngology
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification
