Job Summary:
Patient Care Support:
· Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, including preparing patients, handing instruments, and providing suction when needed.
· Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
· Prepare dental materials for procedures, including fillings, crowns, and impressions.
· Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and answer any questions related to dental procedures.
Sterilization & Infection Control:
· Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment by sterilizing instruments, equipment, and work areas.
· Adhere to all infection control policies and procedures to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
Administrative Tasks:
· Assist in managing patient records, updating medical histories, and ensuring accurate documentation of treatments and procedures.
· Schedule patient appointments, confirm upcoming visits, and manage patient flow.
· Order and maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment.

- Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team.??
- Excellent communication and time management skills.?
- Must be able to successfully complete the AMI Credentialing Process.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience
- Radiology certification preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to work in a safe manner following all safety rules and regulations. Must work as a team member to improve safety culture and quality.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently.
- Fluent in English.
- Vaccinations as required.
- Sensitivity to cross-cultural and language differences
- Ability to work through interpreters.
