AMI Expeditionary Healthcare, LLC, is soliciting CVs/ resumes from ten (10) qualified paramedics to support a potential UNSOS project bid for the United Nations Aeromedical Evacuation Team Mission in Somalia. AMI will submit select candidates’ names and CVs/resumes along with the proposal to meet specific bidding requirements.
The ideal candidate will provide AMET services for an initial 12-month term, with the possibility of an extension. Key responsibilities include establishing medical standards, ensuring compliance with protocols, and delivering high-quality healthcare independently or with minimal supervision.
The Paramedics must meet the following minimum requirements:
No less than three (3) months of paramedic training.
A minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible practical experience in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS).
Currently registered and licensed to practice in one's own country or another UN Member State. The license validity should cover the deployment duration.
Certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) training or equivalent training certificate within 12 months prior to deployment.
Aeromedical evacuation training and related qualifying experience is required.
Experience in providing treatment under night flying conditions and with medical equipment compatible with Night Vision Goggles (NVG).
English proficiency - a minimum of Level B2 is required.
Area of Operations: Mogadishu, Baidoa, Beletweyne, and Kismayo.
