AMI Expeditionary Healthcare (AMI) is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team supporting the Dayton VA Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. As a member of the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT), you will play a vital role in coordinating care, supporting providers, and helping Veterans achieve positive health outcomes.

Position Overview
LPNs will provide direct nursing care and clinical support within a Primary Care clinic setting at the Dayton VA Medical Center. Working alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals, the LPNs will coordinate patient care, support chronic disease management initiatives, and ensure Veterans receive exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient Primary Care environment
• Obtain and document vital signs, patient histories, and clinical information
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and registered nurses with clinical care activities
• Perform clinical support duties within the scope of LPN licensure
• Reinforce patient education related to medications, treatments, wellness, and preventive care
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate concerns to supervising clinicians
• Assist with care coordination, referrals, specialty consultations, and follow-up appointments
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation
• Support infection prevention, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and inventory of medical supplies and equipment
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborative care activities

Qualifications
• Active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in any U.S. state or territory
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of one (1) year of LPN experience within the last three (3) years
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to successfully complete the AMI credentialing process
